Popular University of Nairobi student, Babu Owino has declared his interest in vying for the Embakasi East MP on an ODM ticket come next year.
Owino had joined faithfuls at the SDA church in Donholm where he addressed them.
“I will be vying for the Embakasi East MP position and I will be giving communication on this very soon,” he said.
Surprisingly, after the church service, Owino headed to a local pub where he addressed youth and women groups.
Owino is said to be targeting youth and women voters in the constituency as they are the majority of the electorate.
He also made it clear that he will vie for the Nairobi County gubernatorial seat in 2022 and contest for presidency in 2027.
Owino lost the ODM nomination for the Westlands parliamentary seat to Timothy Wanyonyi Wetang’ula in 2013.
