[Photo/Nation]Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino's lawyer, Otiendo Amollo, is reported to have lost his phone and unknown amount of money at the Milimani law courts on Wednesday, moments after Owino was released  on bail.According to ODM's director of communications Philip Etale, Amollo lost his property during a scuffle that ensued at the court when Owino was re-arrested.In a video clip doing rounds on social media, the lawyer who also doubles up as Rarieda MP was mishandled by police officers after he tried to prevent the ODM legislator from being re-arrested. It is not yet known who might have stolen the legislator's belongings, however, Etale noted there was no civilian at the scene during the scuffle."In the dramatic rearrest of @Babu_Owino , there were no civilians. Only cops. So who STOLE Hon. Otiende Amolo's phone and money?" Etale posed, Thursday.Other lawyers who represented Owino included senior counsel James Orengo and lawyer Edwin Sifuna.
