Controversial Embakasi East MP and foremer University of Nairobi student leader Mr Babu Owino has sent a message to Education and acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i over the indefinate closure of his alma mater.
On his official Facebook page, Babu accused Matiang'i for the closure of the institution.
"Matiang'i has ordered the university senate to close the University of Nairobi indefinately. This is not the solution but postponing the problem," said Babu.
Babu termed the protest made by the UoN student a revolution that the government should look out for.
"Revolution in many parts of the world started from the universities. Comrades power is second after the Holy Spirit," he added.
The Senate of the UoN has ordered the students to vacate the compound by 9 am, Tuesday.
