A young baby boy was on Friday morning found dumped outside the Nairobi Women's Hospital at Kirichwa Road branch.
According to a male nurse who found the baby, the child was abandoned at the front gate, wrapped in a blue vest, black sweatshirt and a jacket and was later taken to the nursery in the hospital.
The hospital communication officer Geoffrey Korio said in a statement that the baby underwent tests and he is well and healthy.
The matter was reported at Kilimani police station for further investigations.
In the last 3 weeks, the hospital has been reported to rescue two other babies in a similar occurrence.
