Addressing residents in Kisumu, deputy governor said that Raila is in a better position to unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta in upcoming general elections compared to the Ukambani political kingpin and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula.

The outspoken politician asked Wiper and Ford Kenya leaders to woo Kenyans in different parts of the nation to vote for the former Prime Minister when that time comes.

Wangalwa argues that both Kalonzo and Wetangula qualify to become Presidents but Raila stands the better chances of trouncing President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.

“Cord has the capability to remove Jubilee from power if only they unite and support Raila for the presidency. Let us not focus on selfish gains but give priority to Kenyans' interests," he said as quoted by The Star.

He also urged them to avoid ethnicity and support Raila to take over power. The deputy governor expressed dissatisfaction over the leadership of Jubilee saying that the government has done very little for the people despite making many promises during their campaigns.

“It is unfortunate that majority of citizens live in poverty yet there is a government in place. Only a few individuals enrich themselves through mega corruption," he said.
