President Uhuru Kenyatta has suffered a blow, a day to his inauguration ceremony slated for Tuesday, November 28.
This is after the High Court in Bungoma nullified re-election of Webuye West MP Dan Wanyama on Monday.
ODM director of communications Philip Etale and his deputy Seth Odongo confirmed in an update that Wanyama's August 8 re-election had been annulled following a petition by his opponent.
The court termed it null and void and called for another election.
Wanyama vied through a Jubilee Party ticket and Uhuru has been in the lead in ensuring his party is widely accepted in the Western Kenya county.
