Renowned gospel artist Bahati has made history as the first Gospel artist in Africa to be hired by Coca Cola Studio.
The hit maker had earlier veiled to his fans that he was about to do something new for Kenyan Gospel.
His supporters acknowledged the updates well and wished him all the best in this new project.
Bahati will now be recording alongside Nigerian artist Kiss Daniel.
The Coke Studio project is expected to familiarise him with different artists from around the world as well as present his music to a bigger audience, something that is the dream of every musician.
The kuchukuchu hit maker has been under much censure for releasing music with secular artists and it could continue as the Coke Studio has so far seen presentations by secular artists. The fact that Bahati is now going to be sharing a stage with them; plants the question as to whether it will positively or negatively affect his ministry.
Despite all the miserable instants that his music career has faced lately, including the decision by the Groove Awards panel to leave him and Willy Paul out of any 2016 selections; he still remains to rise, taking on one test after the other.
Bahati has arguably demonstrated to be good at his work, as only the best of the best make it to coke studio.
