Speaking in the constituency on Tuesday, Ngunjiri accused the aides of sleeping on their job referring to the recent appointments that saw past politicians and kin of prominent politicians given a chance to serve the public.

“President Uhuru might be playing his cards well for 2017 general election however, this might not help much since these politicians might not help much come that time. Look at their stronghold, we need to establish strong political base for 2017 elections,” advised Ngunjiri.

He further observed that the wealthy ones are benefitting more leaving out some deserving Kenyans. We had Karume’s family, Nyachae’s, Kibaki’s among others politicians’ relatives appointed which is very unfair.

MP Ngunjiri noted that the less privileged might feel left out and MPs might also start disagreements at ground level since they do not feel as part of it. He also added that the strategy might fail the head of State since some critics are looking at it from a biased angle.

The appointment by the President has continued to spark out mixed reactions with some accusing the appointed heads of inability to lead on grounds of past failure in their respective departments.
