Students of Jomo Kenyatta Girls high school were in a jovial mood after Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri threw a bash for the girls to celebrate the establishment of the school.

Kimani gave out two bulls for the girls to enjoy a hearty meal of Beef, chapatti and drinks sending the school into a celebratory mood. The bash was dubbed Jomo Kenyatta Girls' Meat and Chapati Forum.

The party was attended by 10 members of parliament among them Samuel Arama (Nakuru Town West), John Kihagi (Naivasha) and John Ndirangu ( Embakasi).

Those in attendance hailed the MP for the move. Ecstatic girls explode into songs and dances as they savoured beef steaks and thanked the MP for the move promising to work hard and set a good example in the school.

Ngunjiri said that he is committed to serve the people of Bahati. “I will serve to my level best every person living in Bahati regardless of political affiliation or tribe,”the MP said.
