Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala has rubbished the National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential line up saying it can't unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8 polls.In an interview with the Standard, Balala dismissed NASA as a fake ‘Pentagon’ which is only interested in acquiring power.Balala said that NASA has no agenda and cannot be trusted with the country’s leadership. “NASA is hungry to get power and such it has no agenda for Kenyans and cannot be trusted with the country’s leadership,” he said as quoted by the Standard.The Tourism CS asked Kenyans to be wary of NASA saying their leaders are only focused in getting power.The CS exuded confidence of Jubilee’s re-election in the August 8 polls saying Uhuru’s government has performed to deserve a second term.NASA unveiled ODM leader Raila Odinga as flag bearer and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka as deputy on Thursday last week.The Raila-Kalonzo line up has been dismissed by a section of political pundits and Jubilee politicians.Political pundits argue that the Raila-Kalonzo line up does not have the ability to wrestle Jubilee out of power.The NASA lineup is already causing murmurs in Ukambani region with some region politicians claiming that they were shortchanged in the deal.
