Balambala MP Abdikadir Aden has asked Kenyans to vote out President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee government in the August 8 general election.
Abdikadir has said that the government has miserably failed to deliver on the pledges it made in 2013.
Speaking in Garissa on Thursday, the MP claimed that Uhuru’s government has not achieved even half of the pledges it made to Kenyans in 2013.
The MP said that the country is grappling with high debts, high inflation rate, strikes and drought at the watch of Jubilee government.
“Jubilee government has let down Kenyans by failing to deliver on the promises made in 2013,” he said as quoted by the Daily Nation.
The Balambala MP further hit out at Uhuru’s government accusing it of allegedly tolerating corruption and tribalism.
“It is under Jubilee government’s watch that we have seen corruption and tribalism thrive,” he claimed.
The MP urged Kenyans to register as voters to vote out the Jubilee government.
Aden urged Kenyans to support the opposition claiming that it has an agenda of boosting the living stands of local and taming runaway graft.
Jubilee government has been under criticism from the opposition for allegedly tolerating corruption and failing to deliver the pledges it made in 2013.
The Jubilee government has however on several occasions defended its development track record.
The Uhuru Kenyatta led government claims that it has achieved most of the development promises it made to Kenyans in 2013 and wants a second term to complete the projects that are being initiated.
