The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has begun distributing ballot papers and other election materials to polling stations across the county.

The exercise is conducted at various constituency tallying centers in Eldoret town.Speaking to the press at the Teachers Advisory Centre (TAC), Moiben Constituency Returning officer Edward Waichiga said everything is in place and they are ready for the elections.

He noted that each polling station across the county will have at least two police officers to ensure the voting process goes on smoothly.

"The polling stations will be opened at 6 am and we urge Kenyans to come out in large numbers and vote for their preferred Presidential candidates," Wachiga said.Uasin Gishu has 868 polling stations with 450,055 registered voters.
