National Super Alliance (NASA) has cast doubt on whether the last general elections’ materials were printed overseas.

According to Senator James Orengo, the materials are likely to have been printed in the country and not Dubai based Al Ghurair firm as stated by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

The leaders of the opposition claim that the election material did not come with some of the crucial features, which is likely to indicate that they were printed locally.

“The commission had specified these features to be on the two forms as a way of protecting the integrity of the elections. But here is a case where these documents lack these features and were brought before the court,” stated Orengo, as quoted by Kenyans.co.ke.

The opposition also claims that the electoral body used a certain formula to ensure that President Uhuru Kenyatta retains the seat during the August general elections.

NASA Leader Raila Amolo Odinga and his running mate Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka have maintained that they will accept the outcome of the last general elections.

According to the leaders, IEBC presented Kenyans with computer generated results.
