The chair of Imams and Muslim preachers in Uasin Gishu county Sheikh Abubakar Bini has supported the move by the Communication Authority of Kenya to ban any sext talks aired during day time.
Speaking in his office on Thursday, Bini said the move will help reinstate the moral upbringing of the children.
"Kenya’s radio stations have been airing sex talks early in the morning exposing our children to sex at a tender age that leads to premarital sex," Bin said.
He said such programs have played a major role in the degradation of morals among the children as they get exposed to adult content.
"I urge the Communication Authority of Kenya to ensure that the new laws are followed to the latter to help protect our children from vulgar and profane content,” he said.
