Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Bandari FC has continued its quest to rebuild its squad ahead of the 2018 season following the promotion of six youngsters from the youth team into the senior team.The revelation was made at a farewell luncheon held at a Mombasa hotel on Monday, as players break off for the holidays.The luncheon was also attended by the club's vice-chairman Musa Hassan and CEO Edward Oduor.Among the notable additions include Abdalla Matano (goalkeeper), Dennis Magige (midfielder), Chacha Swaleh (midfielder) Joachim Daili (defender), Hassan Iddi Shamawiya (defender) and Brian Andanje who was poached from Talanta FC after impressing in the trials.The Bandari junior side is a hub of talent having recently won the Mombasa Youth Premier League with 80 points.The Dockers have been working round the clock to create a more formidable side after a disappointing 2017 season that saw them finish tenth with 43 points after 34 outings.The club recently held a five day-trials in their Mbaraki backyard with an aim of recruiting the best talents from the exercise.
