Bandari FC will return into action on Saturday against Kakamega Homeboyz at the Mbaraki Sports Club hoping to return to winning ways and arrest a string of poor results that have characterized their results in the past few matches.
The Dockers who succumbed to a shock 3-2 defeat at the hands of the league newbies Zoo Kericho last weekend will be going into the match as favourites as they have dominated the fixtures between the sides. In the last four meetings between the two teams, Bandari have recorded impressive three wins with one match ending in a stalemate draw. However, despite the fixture appearing kind to Bandari FC, Homeboyz are a tricky side who are grinding out results, a trend that has seen them rise to the top half of the league standings. The Kakamega-based side has only lost once in their past five matches with their only defeat coming at the hands of league champions Tusker FC.Their last match was the famous 1-0 victory against league giants AFC Leopards.Boasting of one of the tightest defenses, Homeboyz have conceded only one goal in the past five outings.Bandari's form has been worrying of late as they have only recorded two wins in the past five matches while shipping in six goals in the process. The match between the two sides will be a close affair that can go either way.
