Kenya Premier League side Bandari FC signed Gor Mahia defender Bernard Odhiambo who joins on a one-year loan deal.
He crossed to the Mombasa-based side with just hours remaining to the closure of the June transfer window.
The player who previously played for Nakuru AllStars before joining Gor Mahia three years ago has struggled to get playing time at the club which boasts having reputable defenders.
Following his move to the side, Odhiambo becomes Bandari’s seventh signing of the mid season transfer window as he joins his former Gor Mahia teammate Baron Oketch who also penned a one-year loan deal with the club.
Other players who have been roped in by Paul Nkata to bolster his side include forward Fred Cosmas who joined from Tanzanian side African Lyon, Moses Kinyanjui from Mathare United, Hamisi Mwinyi from Nairobi City Stars, Kevin Owuor from Zoo Kericho, Godfrey Okong’o from Onduparaka, Uganda and George Kiweewa from another Ugandan side, Saints.
Coach Paul Nkata is backing new signings to click with the rest of the team to have an edge over rivals during the intense second-leg of the season.
