The Department of Youth, Gender, Sports and Cultural Affairs CeC Kevin Munywoki Kyalo on Wednesday graced the Kenya Premier League Player (KPL) of the Month Award ceremony.

The event held at Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) Bandari Sports Club saw Bandari F. C. player Anthony Wambani crowned for his prowess in the premier league during the month of February.

The player was awarded Sh100,000, a trophy and a 49-inch smart TV. 

The ceremony and awards were sponsored by Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK), Sportpesa and LG Electronics Company. 

Kyalo promised to support the coastal clubs to excel in the National Premier League and promote football as a form of employment for the youth in Mombasa.
