When Enoch Agwanda ditched Gor Mahia during the January transfer window to join Bandari FC, the Mombasa-based side hoped the former Sofapaka man will impact the club positively.

Agwanda has proved that he has the ability to springboard the club's KPL title ambitions in coach Paul Nkata's debut season at the club. The gigantic striker struck the only goal of the match as the dockers started their 2017 KPL campaign on a winning note with a hard-fought victory against Nakumatt FC in a match played at Mbaraki Stadium on Saturday.Agwanda's contribution during the match did not go unnoticed with Bandari assistant coach George Owoko lauding the striker's effort."There is no stiff competition here in Mombasa in terms of friendly matches, so when we want that competition, we have to cross the boarder to get it. I really want to thank Agwanda for giving us the goal in the first half. Not only him but everyone in the team in general. Everyone contributed to the team's win, so I want to thank them," said Owoko. The Dockers' next match will be against Posta Rangers who won by a solitary goal when they played league debutants Zoo Kericho in their league match on Sunday.
