Despite ruling out signing more players during the current mid-season transfer window, Bandari FC have crossed boarder for Lucas Indeche’s replacement.
The Mombasa-based side has roped in former Onduparaka goalkeeper Godfrey Okong'o to fill the gap left by Indeche who was released by the club following the expiry of his six-month loan deal.Confirming the signing, club CEO Edward Oduor said the 23-year-old has penned a three-year contract."We have signed Godfrey Lowo Okong'o after youngster impressed technical bench especially coach Paul Nkata after trials...Being young and experienced, Okong'o has a great future and the coach felt that he is the most sustainable replacement for Lucas Indeche, whose contract with the club has expired," said Oduor.Okong'o had previously featured for Shanzu United which plays in the FKF Division Two league before moving to Uganda for a short stint with Onduparaka.The Ugandan becomes the Dockers' fourth signing of the June transfer window.
