Bandari FC put up a spirited fight to beat a gritty Nakumatt side 1-0 in a match played at the Ruaraka Stadium on Sunday.Felly Mulumba’s free kick outside the 18-yard box saw theDockers pocket the maximum points that saw them jump to position nine on the KPL log.Prior to the win, Bandari had undergone a five-match winless streak that threatened to end their stint at the top flight competition, with head coach Paul Nkata being on the receiving end of a barrage of criticism.The Dockers, however, won a free kick on the edge of the box which the former Sofapaka man curled in past Nakumatt goalie Ezekiel Owade at the stroke of halftime.Former AFC Leopards striker and golden boot contender Kepha Aswani failed to find his fine form as Bandari clang to the solitary goal to win the match.
