A couple in Mombasa had to part with Sh100, 000 after they were caught having sex in a public toilet.
The incident, which took place in a ladies washroom at a mall in Nyali, has attracted various reactions on social media.
Speaking to the Nairobian, the janitor who caught the lovers pants down, said she heard moans from the toilet during the early hours of the morning, just after she reported to work.
When she went to investigate, she realised the door had been locked from the inside and informed her colleagues.
They then ordered the occupants to open the door, and that’s when they saw the couple.
“A man who was obviously drunk opened the door demanding to know why he was being disturbed. He was naked. He was rude and asked us to join him for a threesome. The lady also appeared a bit tipsy. We were shocked that they didn’t look bothered,” said the janitor.
“The man became violent claiming that it was his constitutional right to have fun at any place he wanted,” she added.
The two, who are said to be bankers, were later identified as Brian Munene Nyaga and Emily Mwake Mwashuke.
They were taken to the Nyali police station, where they were released on a Sh100, 000 bond.
