A man was left dead after a bar fight ensued between two men fighting over two women they wanted to take home.
According to reports, Martin Wanjala and his brother Peter Liolu were drinking at a bar when they got into a fight with Jacob Shikuku.
During the argument Martin is believed to have grabbed a knife and stabbed Jacob before fleeing the scene with his brother.
According to a witness Juma Simiyu, Martin works as a boda boda man.
Simiyu also explained that Wanjala had been known for his aggressive behavior and would usually carry knife with him.
Assistant Chief Gladys Wafula says the police are currently in pursuit of the two brothers and believe they may have escaped into Uganda.
She further criticized the act and asked the youth to find a better way of resolving their issues.
''We understand times are tough but we ask youths to refrain from taking alcohol and chasing after women. They should marry and settle down instead,” she stated.
