Tusker Fc stand in coach Francis Baraza had lady luck to blame as his charges fell 0-1 at the hands of bitter rivals Sofapaka on Saturday at the Ruaraka Stadium. In his post match interview, the  former Kenyan international also decried the lack of killer instinct amongst his strike force that saw them fail to convert several chances as Humphrey Okoti returned to haunt his former employer with the solitary goal.

"Actually I thought we were just unlucky in this game.We created a lot of chances than our opponents and played well generally. What cost us today was the fact that we did not take our chances. Our opponents created a few and made them count and that made us lose", he said.

The loss extended the Brewers winless streak to two games after falling to relegation threatened Thika United by the same margin last weekend.

Worse still for the outgoing champions was their slump into third position on the log  which could mean no continental participation for them in 2018.
