Baringo governor Benjamin Cheboi has unveiled close to 20 buses, to be used in his re-election bid.
This is after 'Cheboi-Jubilee' branded buses were spotted in Eldama Ravine, as youths inside them chanted Cheboi-support slogans.
They were campaigning for the governor's re-election.
According to the Star, his rival, Stanley Kiptis, has demanded for investigations over how the 33-seater vehicles were procured.
The Koibatek Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) branch secretary general who seeks to unseat Cheboi, said the buses could have been procured using county public funds.
He accused his rival of non performance, saying the county was in bad state, and needed a working leader.
