Jubilee party may suffer a loss in Baringo county if thousands of its supporters shift to the National Super Alliance (Nasa) as they have threatened.
This follows the chaotic Jubilee primaries that were witnessed in the region, Friday.
They expressed their disappointment over the failed nominations saying it was unexpected despite them believing in the party.
"We thought Jubilee is organised and will prove to Nasa they have a transparent and qualified process. But if this is the trend, then I don't believe we will ever have a fair exercise even during August election," Kabarnet resident Joshua Kuto as quoted by the Star.
Another supporter demanded the party to exercise a transparent election failure to which the residents will shift to the opposition side.
"Either Jubilee assures us a fair election to choose our own leaders or we are all defecting to Nasa," said Abraham Ruto.
"I was awake the whole night and I heard that sitting leaders were walking around dishing out money and buying voters," he added.
Another voter, Rebecca Chemobo said, "We need total change for our leaders in Baringo but if the incumbent Jubilee leaders are restraining us from exercising our democratic right then we are shifting to other welcoming parties."
Jubilee secretary general Raphael Tuju took full responsibility and apologised to voters and aspirants over the situation.
