The Amani National Congress (ANC) party Secretary General Barrack Muluka has lost his position.

This is after the political parties disputes tribunal that Muluka was illegally appointed as the secretary general of the party.

The tribunal further ruled that nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi should be reinstated as the ANC Party Secretary General.

This is after Osotsi submitted before the tribunal that he was wrongly dismissed from office.

According to Osotsi who has been viewed as a rebel, Muluka was appointed to the office yet he was not an ANC party member.

Muluka's ouster comes at a time when ANC is planning to merge with Ford Kenya meaning that the plans may be halted.

Muluka is understood to be at the center of the merger.
