Uasin Gishu County Commissioner Abdi Hassan has put on notice bars and restaurants selling alcohol to minors.
He said those found will be arrested and their licenses confiscated since it is against the law."I have received information from the public that there are some bars and restaurants selling alcohol to minors, this is against the law and stern actions will be taken against them. I will not stay mum while our children's future is being ruined," he said in Eldoret town, Sunday."We will carry out regular patrols in such joints. I call upon residents to give us information on the same and promise to act promptly," he added.Hassan warned parents against accompanying their children to bars saying the risk arrest if found."Parents should take care of their children especially during this long holidays celebrations if your child will be found misbehaving you will be held responsible," noted Hassan.
