[Photo: Joyce Laboso]The race for Bomet gubernatorial seat is getting tougher, even as two rivals compete to have the post.Jubilee Party candidate, Sotik MP and National Assembly deputy speaker Joyce Laboso, is campaigning harder, to unseat incumbent governor, CCM party leader and Opposition Nasa co-principal Isaac Ruto.This even as Laboso launches her 5-year term Manifesto on how she will lead the South Rift county, which is now split politically, after Ruto announced his support for Nasa, from Jubilee government.The event being held at the Bomet green stadium is being attended by Laboso's party leaders President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto, Thursday, (today).The presence of the two leaders indicate how the county is important to Jubilee Party's re-election, despite their opponents traversing the area a day earlier, led by presidential candidate Raila Odinga and Isaac Ruto.Both coalitions are seeking to win votes in the region.
