Real Madrid are bidding to win the Champions League for an unprecedented third year in a row when they take on Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, in the second semi-final match today.
The Los Blancos needed an injury time Cristiano Ronaldo penalty last time out to see off a stubborn Juventus at the Santiago Bernabeu in the second leg of the quarter-final matches, while Bayern sailed through after a comfortable tie against Sevilla.
In the clash, Bayern will be wary of Ronaldo who has scored in every Champions League game this season, with 15 goals in total, and will look to add to his tally. The Portuguese talisman now has 120 goals in the Champions League, 15 of which have come in just ten games this season.
The Bundesliga champions have won their last three matches, seeing off Borussia Monchengladbach, Bayer Leverkusen, and Hannover 96 in spectacular fashion, scoring a massive 14 goals in the process.
They will be buoyed by the fact that they haven’t lost a home game in any competition since April last year. They have won 19 of their 22 games at the Allianz Stadium this season, and for that reason, I back -them to win the tie on Wednesday.
Real Madrid have won five and lost one of their last six meetings with Bayern Munich, but Bayern have won five of their eight competitive matches when hosting Madrid.

PREDICTION: Bayern Munich have lost just once in the past 15 matches at home, and therefore highly unlikely to lose to Madrid today. I also believe that Real Madrid will secure an away goal at the Allianz Arena.Therefore, the safest bet is goal-goal (GG).
