In a press briefing in Nakuru town on Wednesday, the over 70 leaders led by the association chairman Victor Njeru, said leaders should preach peace.

“The youth comprising of over 60% of the population should refrain from any form of violence and should instead focus their energy on nation building,” he said.

Njeru called on Embakasi East MP elect Babu Owino to set a good example of the young generation by preaching peace and co-existence.

While congratulating President Uhuru Kenyatta upon his re-election, the caucus told Jubilee to implement its promise of paid internship.

“Inclusivity and oneness is the basic pillar of a united society which every development minded leader should embrace,” Kevin Kori, the group's Secretary General, said.
