Kisii boys high school principal Casper Maina accused some reporters in Kisii County for reporting false stories about his school.

On Thursday and Friday last week some media houses reported that Kisii boys’ high school students were found in some bars in Kisii town something that was not factual.

Maina denied the allegations and said all students on that day were in school and nobody was out of the institution since they had not been released for their a half term.

“I was surprised when I heard that my school students were in some various bars in Kisii town even though I have received many calls from school parents I want to clarify that all school student are in school,” said Maina.

“Journalist should be careful and report a true story to promote high professional and ethical standards among themselves and be factual when reporting and maintain objectivity,” added Maina.

Maina urged the journalists not to misrepresent facts in news reporting.
