Leaders have been challenged to respect their juniors in office by minding them so that when they retire they get someone who can transform this nation.
Speaking at Nyosia in Nyaribari Chache Kisii County on Monday during the burial ceremony of Esther Nyaboke, Nyachae's wife, Kitui county Senator David Musila challenged leaders to be role models to their juniors more so in their offices.
Musila who is a long term friend to Mzee Nyachae and worked under him for some years said that Mzee Nyachae used to be a role model to him hence that why he is whom he is today.
“I have come to mourn with the family particularly my long time friend Mzee Nyachae who I worked at his office and who taught me about good leadership," said Musila.
“Therefore I challenge all leaders to be role models to juniors as Mzee did to me," he added.
Musila also noted that leaders should know how to utilise time so that they can boost the economy of the country.
Among the leaders who were present are Kisi county Governor James Ongwae and his counterparty Nyagarama, CS education Fred Matiang’i, Former road CS for Roads Michael Kamau among others who all gave their condolences to the family.
