Ombati alleged that over the last four years the distribution of funds has not been transparent prompting women and youths not to prosper.

“If we need to help our women and youths let the money be distributed to them transparently and Kisii County will change economically because the money will be used in business,” said Ombati.

Ombati was speaking on Sunday at a burial ceremony held at Riokindo village in Bomachoge Borabu constituency and promised to fight for women and youths’ rights to succeed.

She also urged Kisii county leaders to foster development projects in the county since residents demand is development nothing else

She also advised the youths to distance themselves from being used by politicians negatively.
