Radio Maisha's Beatrice Maganga has left Kenya's the Standard Media Group (SG).
Maganga who presents news in the Swahili radio, which commands huge following in the country, revealed she would leave, immediately after reading 9am news, April 1.
"Today is my last day on Radio Maisha. I'll be reading my last news to our listeners at 1pm. I'll miss you,'' Maganga said in Swahili.
Asked by Nuru Ya Lugha show host, Hassan Mwana Wa Ali, about where she would be heading to, she said: "I'll be going to venture into personal 'business', far from what I do now.''
Maganga has been among the most loved news presenters by listeners on Radio Maisha, due to her good Swahili.
