As at 8.20am, Mbogo had garnered 28,126 votes (46,85%) with 80. 30% polling stations having submitted their results.
The incumbent, Rashid Bedzimba who is defending his seat on an ODM party ticket is placed second with 23, 910 votes (39.83%).

Jamallat Abdulhakim of MCCP - 738 votes (1.23%)
Samuel Kavingo of UDP - 313 votes (0.52%)
