A five-year old child has died following an attack by a swarm of bees at Isoketi area in Trans Mara West, Narok County.
The baby’s mother Ms Nasha Nang'ida said the minor had accompanied his siblings in a honey harvesting adventureMonday afternoon that turned tragic.
In the course, he was severely stung leading to his death.
His brothers however escaped with minor injuries.
Hospital officials said the child’s body was overpowered by the number of bee stings.
“A bee sting contain acidic toxins and if they sting more than 400 of them it can be fatal,” Mr Omoro, a clinician said.
