Mr Kenyatta is expected to start his visit in Machakos before heading to Kitui on Saturday and Sunday and Makueni on Monday.

Mutua said that despite being of different political parties, Kenya is under one government headed by one president with which everyone should cooperate with for the betterment of the whole country.

"I personally wish to tell the president to feel at home in Ukambani," said Governor Mutua.

Ukambani leaders and residents are looking forward to the goodies the president will bring in their land.

“I also urge opposition leaders to exercise decorum during the visit and shun sideshows that may cast the region in bad light,” warned Mutua.
