Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i has said that as a leader representing constituents at the National assembly, his political party does not mean that he will fail to deliver as required.
Speaking at Bokimonge ward in Bomachoge Borabu Constituency, Tong'i said that leaders from Gusii region have rights to choose a political party that will bring development to the region.
"Being in Jubilee will not be an excuse that I as a leader will not deliver as required. Jubilee is a party that will not hinder development those opposing leaders not to join should stop since Jubilee government is doing great to our people. Roads, schools , nd other facilities have been constructed under its leadership and there is still more to be done," he said.
He added that the party does not matter but what matters is the development record a leader would have made by the time he or she leaves office.
He urged locals to remain united ahead of the 2017 elections.
