A resident speaking to Hivisasa this morning at Mogoga area Bogitaa in the constituency, the residents expressed their confidence that Opore will lose in 2017 polls after 15 years serving as an MP with poor development records in the area.

"Opore is confident to win the 2017 polls. He should know we are tired of his leadership that has seen us suffer from poor roads, poor buildings in our schools and being mean on CDF allocations. If he thinks his membership in the Omogusii unity talks movement will guarantee him a win in 2017 he better know early that he will lose his seat," said Mama Imelda Onditi.

"We voters have the decision to make. Our MP Opore has been doing rounds in the constituency to intimidate the less fortunate who opposes his leadership. Omogusii unity members are all failures. Politics of failed promises will not be tolerated anymore. As locals, we have the pain of poor leadership but time will come to make a change and vote a leader who can transform our region," noted Kefah Nyabuto.

Dickson Momanyi stated that Opore doe does not deserve a 4th term in office since for the 3 terms he has been in office, he has done nothing people can celebrate about.

The residents now promised to try another candidate as they desire the region to develop with improved infrastructure among other projects.
