President Uhuru Kenyatta has re-affirmed that the Belgium government will cater for over Sh2.4 billion to fund the last mile electricity connection in counties before 2017 polls.
President Kenyatta speaking on Monday when he met with Belgium Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Didier Reynders at State house said that the two countries have good relations thus Sh2.4 billion will be catered by the Belgium government to fund the project last mile connectivity project.
"Following a financing agreement signed between our two countries, The Belgium Government will fund the Last Mile County Connectivity Project with over Sh2.4 billion", stated Uhuru.
Kenyatta added that Kenya will continue with its trade relations with other countries to benefit her citizens.
