An elected MP in Nyamira County has assured that plans are ongoing for the application of CDF bursary funds to start.
Borabu MP Ben Momanyi refuted claims by a section of youths from the constituency that he has delayed releasing the funds.
"CDF bursary application forms will be made available anytime because plans are ongoing. It is important that we embrace patience," he said.
Momanyi accused his political rivals for plotting to taint his name over the delayed release of funds by treasury.
"It is not time for politics and my rivals should stop unnecessary attacks on me using desperate youths. I should be given humble time to lay down strategies on how I will serve the people of Borabu," he added.
The lawmaker assured that allocation of CDF funds will be transparent, free and fair and urged students to apply in numbers.
