The first TV reality show comprising of leading showbiz personalities from Mombasa is set to be launched this August.
The reality drama series, Mombasa Diaries, will feature several celebrated names from Mombasa among them Beyonce.
Beyonce, a Mombasa based socialite, said youth have moved from the 'old fashioned' reality shows and are seeking TV shows that reflect their way of life.
"The youth are slowly moving from traditional TV and local productions that do not reflect their daily life,” said Beyonce as quoted by Pulse Magazine.
"They want to experience their world, socialise, make money and have fun in life," she added.
In addition, the social world big wig said that they were inspired by Nairobi Diaries to make a similar show featuring Mombasa celebrities.
"We were inspired by what Nairobi Diaries is doing and that is why we started Mombasa Diaries. It will be a drama series that features popular names from the Mombasa entertainment arena," she added.
