The residents said they have tried to get help from authorities in Nakuru County but nothing has been done yet.

Morris Kamau, on Tuesday, said that many people have ruined their lives because of smoking the herb and the seller remains free.

“We have come to a point where we are now asking the national government to help us because we have not gotten the necessary help here. This guy always gets out when he is arrested and the assistant chief told us that he will not arrest him because he threatened to cast an evil spell on him,” said Kamau.

Another resident, Abraham Kinuthia said they have visited the offices of Nakuru County commissioner severally and deliberated on the matter but no action has been taken.

They have appealed to Nkaiserry to help them arrest the culprit who is continuing to ruin young lives as he even sells the stints of bhang to young pupils in primary schools.
