Biashara Ward in Nakuru County MCA Karuri Maina has threatened to table a motion of no confidence against the County Roads and Public Works Eexucutive, Joel Maina Kairu due to what he terms as being inefficient in his job.
Speaking on Wednesday at the county assembly premises, Maina said the Executive has continued to sleep on his job even after the County Governor gave an executive order for various roads in his Ward to be constructed.
"If they cannot be able to follow orders given by their boss, let them resign and give others a chance. If they don't and are not willing to do what they ought to, I will bring an impeachment motion against them," said Maina.
He further added that he is not the only MCA having problems with the county executive.
"Other MCAs are eagerly waiting for the motion. The Governor ordered roads in Nyonjoro, Highlands, Muteithia and Kahuruko to be made immediately. Up to now nothing has been done," said Maina.
He added that Kairu has been buying time with some lame excuses and said they will make sure he either starts working or get out.
