The National Super Alliance (NASA) might have lost a grand opportunity to table a strong attack on the Jubilee Agenda to the nation, political commentator and organising secretary for the national women steering committee Daisy Amdany has said.
Amdany was speaking on Monday, during the analysis on the 'failed' proposed deputy presidents national debate that was held at Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA).
The debate witnessed poor attendance after only one running mate Mr Eliud Muthiora Kariara of presidential candidate Mr Japeth Kavinga showed up.
NASA running mate Kalonzo Musyoka and Deputy president William Ruto were both absent at the debate, however Amdany felt the move to miss left a big blow to NASA, not Jubilee.
"Apart from all Kenyans being the loser, I think the biggest loser in this debacle is actually NASA because they had the opportunity to speak to the nation away from Jubilee's distraction and sell their policies because Jubilee has the advantage of incumbency," said Amdany.
"So for me at the end of the day this is one big loss to NASA, however, the behavior goes out to show that both NASA and Jubilee don't understand how to deal or engage with issues but just bullying," she added.
