The Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC) can now rest easy after the courts issued them with a temporary reprieve over their recent troubles with the NGO coordination board.
Tuesday, came in with good news for the commission after a judge issued an order suspending the cancellation of its operating certificate.
High Court judge, Justice Chacha Mwita said the order to remain in place until October 2.The commission was facing closure due to claims that they have been operating illegally and their operating certificate was set to be scrapped.
