Saying that the community has been let down by the government, Kobia adds that the community is now open to work with any party or coalition that will listen to them.

“The problem is with the Merus. They never disclose they will not vote for you but they act," he said.

In an exclusive footage, Kobia says that the president has become unreachable and out of touch with the grassroots community.

He says that the community will no longer remain in the periphery despite giving the presidency all the votes as a block.

“Merus believe I stay at State House. They have sent me to talk to my brother that he has no votes from Thuci to Laare. Merus have refused to be taken for granted…”

Kobia says he spent millions campaigning for Uhuru adding that the president still has some room to sit with the Merus and put out the fire that is threatening to deny him popularity and votes in the region.

He has asked Raila Odinga and any other politician who needs to work with them through PNU to present their manifesto so the community can decide.

He says the Peter Munya-led PNU is the party Merus will use to work with their preferred presidential candidate.
