Speaking to this writer on Thursday at Biombe primary school during the marking of international literacy day, Birongo ward MCA Godfrey Nyamache raised concern about gangsters who have been coordinating a series of attacks against residents which has led to sleepless nights.

Nyamache called upon security agents to set up measures on how they will curb the menace more so by the police officer patrolling the area at night.

“It is really disappointing that out people are being attacked with gangster even when we have a police post at Birongo who need to patrol since they have a vehicle which they were given when we raised concern in the first place, we call upon the police officers to strengthen their security so that we can curb this problem,” said Nyamache

He further said that as the area MCA he will urge the security officers to hold a meeting in which they will discuss and set measures on how they will curb the menace in the area.

“We are going to organise a security meeting with all county security agents so that we can have a way forward,” he said.

Nyamache also called upon residents to report to the security whenever they suspect people who are against the vice.

“I call upon residents to report to the authority whenever they came up with the suspects and let our children go to school since we might find that the suspects are our children who might drop from schools,” added Nyamache.
