The African Brotherhood Church Bishop Mashack Mukwilu has faulted politicians who have been inciting people to evict secondary school principals.
Mukwilu speaking at ABC Ivovoani, Machakos County on Sunday said the leaders should stop interfering with affairs of the Teachers Service Commission.
“I condemn the leaders evicting school principals from schools where TSC has transferred them to. Leaders should focus on fulfilling their promises to the electorates and address problems of poverty and insecurity,” he said.
The Bishop asked school heads to give a deaf ear to politicians who have ill intentions and focus on achieving good results in National exams.
"All school heads transferred to various schools across the country should focus on improving performance in the schools. Arguing with politicians with selfish interests politicizing education will not help at all," he added.
Mukwilu urged Acting education CS Fred Matiang'i and TSC not to change the transfers and allow the teachers serve in the schools they have been moved to.
